Our rates include:

  • Full 24 hour car rental
  • Maintenance, oils, lubes
  • Car replacement in case of mechanical damage or engine failure
  • Road maps for Chios island
  • Insurance against liability to third parties (excluding driver and passengers) for death and injury up to 500.000,00€ per victim, material damages to third parties and for fire too.
  • Reservations from anywhere in the world without any extra charge
General Terms And Conditions
  • Age Requirement: Customers must be over 23 years old and have a personal credit card.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driving license (European or International) held for at least one year is required.
  • Minimum Rental: One day (24 hours). At the end of rental period, SOTIRAKIS Rent a Car allows a further period of 29 minutes free of charge after the time of pick up. After the 29 minutes grace period has expired, the renter will be charged in addition with the amount of 1/6 of the daily, every single hour.
  • Covered Distance Calculation: Calculation of kilometers driven starts and ends at our office.
  • Baby Seats: Available on request with a daily charge of 3.18€.
  • Traffic Fines: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during rental period are borne solely by the renter.
  • Gasoline: The renter shall pay the cost of the full. The vehicle will be provided with a full tank and must be refilled prior to car return (only with unleaded gasoline), otherwise a charge of 1.65€ per litre of gasoline.
  • Taxes: All rates are subjected to V.A.T. 16%
  • Collection – Delivery: -Every collection or delivery which takes place 15 km away from Chios town, shall be charged 21.55€. -The charge for every delivery or collection outside working hours (22:00-07:00) shall be 22.26€.
  • Vehicle Replacement: SOTIRAKIS Rent a Car retains the rights of replacing the vehicle’s type, under certain circumstances.
  • Ferrying The Car: It is forbidden without a written authorization from the SOTIRAKIS Rent a Car.
  • Across The Border Rentals: Only with the prior written agreement of SOTIRAKIS Rent a Car .The cost for issuing the Green card and International Road Assistance will be by the renter.
INSURANCE COVERAGE

Insurance: All authorized drivers of SOTIRAKIS Rent a Car are covered against fire and liability to third-parties, for death, injury (up to 500.000€ ) or damage to property (up to 500.000€ ).If the vehicle is damaged or stolen by renter’s culpability or negligence, the renter will be presided for, up to the total car’s commercial value at the time of accident or theft.

  • Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.).The renter can limit his responsibility for his legal share in any damage of the vehicle: a) to 500.00€ by paying the amount of 06.04€ per day for all groups.
  • Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.).The renter may waive the above deductible amount reliability of 500.00€ by paying in addition the daily amount of 06.36€ for all groups. -W.U.G.: 6.36€ Covers damage to car glasses for all vehicle categories.
  • Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.): For a charge of 3.18€ per day, Personal Accident Insurance can be obtained covering the drive and each passenger for medical expenses 1,500€ and for life or total / partial permanent disablement: 15,000€ and 300€ respectively. Aggregate indemnity for every accident is limited to 30,000.00€.
